ALSA Research Funding

In August 2001, the ALS Association awarded close to $1.3 million to thirteen researchers studying ALS.  Six of the thirteen investigators funded at this time are located outside the United States.  These new projects are in addition to fifty-nine continuing research projects being funded by The ALS Association.  The continuing projects represent a total original commitment of nearly $6.7 million.

The ALS Association continues to fund cutting edge research to find the cause and cure for ALS.
