The ALS Association encourages people with ALS to consider “giving the most precious gift,” and supports the effort to increase tissue available for ALS researchers by sponsoring the ALSA Tissue Bank Pilot Program. This Program
provides educational materials for patients and families as well as
funding for pilot institutions to cover a portion of the costs involved in
the donation procedures and tissue storage. If you would like more
